We continue to adhere to the ever changing recommendations from the CDC and local health authorities regarding patient care, infection control, and appropriate isolation practices.

Currently, we plan to see well children in the clinic during our morning hours for vaccines and check ups. We will call you the day before your appointment to confirm that you are indeed well and review scheduled vaccines. We have arranged  to stagger families in such a way, and utilize separate rooms, so as to minimize numbers of patients in the clinic at any one time. Again, we ask for one parent only and no siblings.

Afternoons will be reserved for sick patients only. As of today, our doctors will handle ALL phone calls from families reaching out to us regarding sick children before scheduling to come into the clinic. This will allow us to screen patients by phone in advance, triage appropriately, and protect all of our families at Hales Pediatrics…and please, no unannounced walk-ins.

These are difficult times and our hearts go out to all of our families. Our goal is to continue to offer the best pediatric care we can, to keep our patients healthy and safe, under these challenging circumstances. It is already requiring some creativity and will continue to be that way for a while; we are up to the challenge.  Arrangements for telemedicine are in progress. In the meantime, we are available by phone to help with any issues that may come up regarding your family’s well being.
